Shopkeeper suspect to be running out of Nintendo Wii Fit boards by Christmas!

If UK telegraph is to believe than probably shopkeepers selling Nintendo wii fit board probably run out of boards by Christmas. Moreover the kind of response currently in the market is taken into consideration than it is not incredible that for the vast majority of people, Wii Fit is already sold out.

The article even reported the quotes of a spokesperson for one of the UK's largest electrical retailers saying that if they get 1,000 orders in one or two day then they are all gone by Sunday. This means they are done with their sales target of the year.

For the time being the issue is to find out the reasons for an ongoing shortage of stock. Is it simply a case of demand surpassing supply? Or just a case of reselling by the customers on eBay market for making few bucks.

We had thought that Nintendo has take lesson from the Wii console launch and ensured enough stock this time But no one really know that its an artificial shortage deliberated to induce customers buying more. Whatever, it is actually going to work in Nintendo's wii fit favour. You've got to love a good conspiracy.

The whole conspiracy theory thing received a comment from Nintendo.com confirming 'intentional shortage'. He said in the case of limited supply of something, a company will shift that stock to where it makes most financial sense. He completely ostracised the 'intentional shortage', that's business strategy he said.

Nintendo Wii Fit Mysteries

Although a year after a burgeoning success to Nintendo Wii Fit many people still confuse themselves between Wii Fit and Wii Sports. The reason for this may be the similarity factor as also the inclusion of same group of games.

Wii Fit as an exergaming truly deserved to be named as a world class fitness innovation device. But one has to agree that without Wii Sports games Wii Fit wouldn’t have the same respect and liking as it continues to carry today. Nintendo’s approach to all its new innovations has been fantabulous. The introduction of Mii characters is just a kind of one example to name it.

The wireless Balance Board is a commendable peripheral and to everyone’s surprise Wii Balance Board peripheral, was bought by 10 percent of Wii owners in the first four days it was on sale in UK.

But Nintendo has suffered some serious problems in its supply of Wii consoles and Wii Fit for many months after its December 2006 launch in both the US and the UK, although it promised wannabe buyers a "steady supply" of the consoles would be forthcoming from the end of the year.

Truly a transformation in the realm of home fitness particularly the Wii Balance Board that comes along with Wii Fit has been appreciated a lot by the Wii Fit users. If you are striving for a perfect workout at home it can’t get better than Nintendo Wii Fit.
